5yo Daughter still nearly impossible to drop off at school over two months in

My daughter started kindergarten at the end of August. Initially, I knew there would be tears and what not being in a new place with new people, etc. Well, we are over two months in and she has not improved one bit. I still have to walk her all the way in to her locker, then help her with her stuff (backpack, jacket, etc) and then take her to a teacher either on the playground or the gym as students can't enter their classrooms until about 0820.I know she has friends at school. There are several times when I have dropped her off and a few kids who she has identified as her "best friends" come running up to her VERY excited to see her. She also loves her class, she talks constantly about the things they do and how much she's learning. So I know she's not afraid to go to school, its more like she's afraid to say goodbye. Whenever I take her outside, when I leave, I drive past the playground and I see her running and laughing with her friends despite being in tears latched to my leg just two minutes prior. What the heck can I do about this? It is extremely frustrating and needs to stop for everyone's sake, especially hers.Edit: It is worth adding that she is this way with basically anything that we have tried to get her into. Soccer, gymnastics, dance, all things she is into but refused to do without mom or dad. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2zqniZf
