My son is 11 and would like to start earning some money so he can buy things for himself. He has chores but we don't pay him for chores.We live in a large city and most people here live in apartment buildings, so things like mowing lawns or shoveling snow aren't options. He goes grocery shopping for one of our neighbors and she pays him, but that is the only job he has been able to find. We live in a high income area and most people would rather hire professionals for things like tutoring, cleaning, or babysitting. Any other ideas on what else he can do? He is a pretty responsible kid (gets himself to school on time every morning, can makes simple dishes, plays sports, honors student, involved in student government, etc.) and is willing to do almost anything but options seem to be few and far between. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2APBBYI
