Our little boy, 2 years, 4 months old is so sweet in so many regards. He is funny, smart and incredibly cute. He is demanding though: whining. He cuts our sleep: early morning wakeups, always. But the worst, is that he hits, grab/pinches and sometimes bites us. He does it when we get excited. He does it often when we just go to give him a kiss. It's when he's frustrated, anxious, overly excited in play but also just randomly, out of the blue, when he is seemingly happy. It feels like we have tried everything. We have been consistent: "we're not going to let you hit," and gently grabbing his arm. We have tried to ignore it. Tried to remove him from the situation. Time-ins and time outs ... speaking to him about it. It's been going on for about a YEAR now. We are at our wit's end. It's sad for us. It's hard for us. It's so, so tiring.Has anyone dealt with this? Is there hope? Is there a plan we can try? Please. Asking with desperation. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2zJK9yA
